1970 – Manitoba 38 Ottawa 11

1970 was Manitoba’s year again, as the Bisons became the first team to repeat as Vanier Cup champions with a convincing 38-11 win over Ottawa.

Mike Shylo, the Ted Morris Trophy Winner, paced Manitoba with his second career Vanier Cup TD and 167 total yards in rushing, receiving and kickoff returns.

Hec Crighton Award winner Paul Patton threw for 183 yards for the Gee-Gees.
