Acadia edged Alberta 18-12 as Axemen's QB Steve Repic engineered a 75-yard drive, culminating in Quentin Tynes' last minute, 2-yard TD plunge.
Repic won MVP honours by completing 15 of 20 passes for 232 yards, including a 64-yard TD strike to Hubert Walsh.
Halfback Frank Cunningham scored Alberta's lone touchdown, and kicker Reg Gilmour booted a field goal, a convert and two singles.
